How Selfie Master helps you look your best

Selfie Master is a brand new app in ZenUI 4.0 which includes a full suite of features for taking beautiful selfies and sharing them with the world. We’re going to run through all of the big features here so you can take full advantage of everything. It’s available on all ZenFone 4 models, but you’ll definitely want to try it on the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, which boasts a DuoPixel camera system and front-facing Softlight LED flash for low-light pictures. It even lets you record razor-sharp 4K video on both front and rear cameras.

The highlight of Selfie Master is a simplified beautification mode. Once you open it by tapping the Camera button, just swipe left and right to increase or decrease the amount of digital enhancement in your next selfie. You can also tap the arrows at either end to jump between 0, 5 and 10 on the beautification scale. In addition to the big pink shutter key, there are other icons there to switch between rear and front cameras, activate flash, check your photo gallery, and go back to the Selfie Master home screen. If you want more refined control over what is beautified – whether it’s slimming cheeks, enlarging eyes, or smoothing skin – dive into the PixelMaster camera app on the home screen. This will have individual dials for all of these features.

ZenFone 4 BeautyMasterBeautyLive takes beautification one step further by letting you launch into live broadcasts for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and many other social networks. Though you can jump to those apps via Selfie Master, going to them directly and starting up a livestream will still show a bubble you can tap to turn up or down beautification on the live broadcast. Being able to look great while doing live video is absolutely incredible, and serious influencers will definitely appreciate the extra help. Of course, beautification can be equally applied to prerecorded video as well; just tap the Video icon Selfie Master app, and you’ll have all of the features and layout of the still photo interface.

Selfie Master collageNow that you have a bunch of pictures, what do you want to do with them? Sure, you can just post your shots directly to Instagram or Facebook, but you can package them creatively using Collage and Slideshow. With Collage, you can pick up to 9 photos to bring together, then you chose how to arrange them. Options include aspect ratio (such as 1:1 to fit perfectly on Instagram), layout in a variety of grid patterns, and positioning. Just press and hold to shuffle your photos around, drag them to reposition them within each frame, and pinch them to zoom in and out. Once you’re done, you’ll be able to share the final picture through any of your favorite apps.

Slideshow does the same thing for video. Your ZenFone can assemble up to 60 photos into a short video set to a certain mood. Music, transitions, and timing can vary between graceful, happy, groovy, and young themes, depending on the subject matter. The final product is short enough to go out onto Facebook, Instagram, and or attach in an e-mail.

That’s all there is to Selfie Master! It brings together a lot of great tools for creating and sharing photos and video with the people who are important in your life. If you’re really interested in taking great pictures of you and your friends, you’ll want to check out the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro. It has a front-facing Softlight flash and DuoPixel camera system to capture every detail, even in low light.
