Intel Kaby Lake powers the ZenBook 3 Deluxe

Optimized video processing for 4K and more
The big addition to Kaby Lake is improved video format support, such as 10-bit High Efficiency Video Coding and VP9. Improved performance, same power draw
Keeping demands on the battery minimal on portable devices is essential. This is often at odds with the desire for greater processing power. Luckily, the seventh generation Intel Core processor manages to deliver improved performance without being a bigger burden on the battery. Improvements are roughly 10% over the Skylake-generation processors, and roughly 20%-25% compared to the Broadwell-generation processors before that, according to PC World.
Intel Speed Shift Technology improves responsiveness in web browsing and other short tasks. For more intensive workloads, Turbo Boost Technology can dynamically ramp up processing power when needed, but keep it running cool with minimal power draw the rest of the time.
Multitask like a champ
The U-series processor in the ZenBook 3 Deluxe employs Intel Hyper-Threading Technology. This helps each processor core handle two tasks in parallel. There’s also Intel Smart Cache, which allocates resources dynamically based on which core is working harder. This makes it easy to bounce back and forth between applications and enjoy smooth performance in the process.
Kaby Lake supports super-fast data transfer speeds to the PCIe® Generation 3 storage. This is three times faster than a traditional SATA3 SSD.
